Let me share with you my testimony.I am blessed to have been born in a Christian family and to have grown up in church. As a young teenager, I was saved and baptized.I have served at one time or another in about every ministry of the church from teacher to choir director. God called me into full-time Christian service at the age of thirty. Being called by God into His service is an on-going experience for all Christians. What a great privilege that God allows us to work alongside Him.
My childhood years were spent in Morrisville, North Carolina, which is just outside of Cary.I graduated from North Carolina State University in 1974 with two degrees. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and also a Bachelor of Science in Wood Science and Technology. In my profession, I worked at Fort Bragg leading woodland management teams.
God called me to enter full-time Christian service in 1983. I graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1986 with a Master of Divinity with Religious Education.I became Senior Pastor at Westover Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia, in 2005.
I am married to my wonderful wife, Debbie, and we have four children. You will discover that I have a great love for people and love to see others grow inknowledge and understanding of the Lord.I am sensitive to the lost and want them to receive Christ.
