Youth are also important to Westover. It is at this stage in ones life when we develop a faith of our own apart from our family history. It's also an exciting time when we begin to look more closely at the scriptures and challenge what we've believed in the past. At Westover there will be opportunities for youth to explore their faith in Jesus Christ and fellowship with other Christians through bible study, retreats and other fun events. 1 Timothy 4:12: Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Sunday February 12 Boy Scout Sunday
On Sunday February 12 the boy scouts will lead in worship. Following worship will be a special lunch hosted by the boy scouts in Hardison Hall.
Sunday February 19 Baby Shower for Lysa Clements
On Sunday February 19 we will celebrate with Lysa, Julia and Hailey as they welcome Lysa's little boy into their lives. After worship we will have a baby shower for Lysa. Her son is due in April. Lunch will be provided.
Saturday March 3 11:30-2:30 Homeless Lunch
Westover will serve lunch to the homeless on Saturday March 3. We will bring a meal and serve it to residents at the Bailey's Crossroads Commuity Shelter. We will meet at the Westover parking lot at 11:00am and return their by 1:00pm. Please let Pastor Nikki know if you would like to help.
